Meet Victoria Celeste
PUBLISHED AUTHOR●MOTIVATIONAL SPEAKER ●FASHION DESIGNER
Domestic Violence Rehabilitation Advocate
Victoria Celeste Mitchell, author, fashion designer, and a native of Florida. Her loving mother the late Linda B. Bell, who gave plenty of guidance and tough love to make the difference that allowed perseverance through dark times, raised Celeste.
Fueled by a thirst for adventure and eagerness to get away from home after graduation, Celeste joined the United States Army. After the military, Celeste decided to see what other experiences life had to offer. She soon married and gave birth to her son, Dionte, who served as the light of her life. However, her marriage eventually took a rapid turn for the worse. She found herself in a mentally and physically abusive marriage. Having a choice of either death or divorce in her near future, Celeste eagerly chose divorce. She utilized this devastating and life-changing experience to assist in the healing of others.
Shortly after the death of her mother, Celeste relocated to Atlanta, GA to start fresh, picking up the pieces of her broken life.
Celeste had no direct vision of entrepreneurial success when she spent her childhood days dressing dolls and speaking in front of a mirror. From a very young age, Victoria discovered that her success depended primarily on her ability to make it happen. With that mindset, she stands with a desire to succeed and help others. Victoria Celeste serves as an example of someone that allowed hard life experiences and distractions, to lead her into her destiny.
Celeste released her first published book of poetry in 2003. She has several years of experience in the entertainment industry. She continues to run her fashion design firm Deunje’ Collections, and publishing company Endy Writes Publishing with a desire to use the companies as a tool to construct and establish her foundation to benefit Domestic Violence Rehabilitation. Celeste believes that shelters alone no longer give the necessary help Domestic Violence victims need for successful rehabilitation. Currently, Celeste lives with her husband Gerrad and two children, Dionte and Endya.
